Manli introduced three GeForce RTX 4070 video cards with GDDR6 memory – two versions of the GeForce RTX 4070 Polar Fox, as well as one model simply called Manli GeForce RTX 4070.
The GeForce RTX 4070 with GDDR6 memory uses an AD104-251 GPU with 5888 CUDA cores. Its characteristics are similar to the AD104-250 chip, which is used in the original RTX 4070 with GDDR6X memory. Also, the memory capacity of the card has not changed, which is 12 GB, and the TPD is equal to 200 W.
According to Nvidia, the GeForce RTX 4070 with GDDR6 memory delivers not the same, but similar levels of performance as the original RTX 4070 with GDDR6X memory. This is explained by the speed of GDDR6 memory, which is 20 Gbit/s per pin, instead of 21 Gbit/s for GDDR6X.
Manli notes on the packaging of the presented video cards that they use 12 GB of GDDR6 memory. However, Nvidia itself and its partners seem to have no consensus on this matter – not all companies indicate this information in their advertising materials.
The GeForce RTX 4070 video card presented by Manli without indicating any series (model number M2545+N748) is equipped with a compact cooling system in a proprietary green color with two fans. The thickness of the video card is 2.5 expansion slots.
The manufacturer also presented GeForce RTX 4070 Polar Fox models in white, equipped with cooling systems with two and three fans. All presented new products do not have a factory overclocked GPU. Consequently, their GPU operates in the reference frequency range from 1920 to 2475 MHz.
The GeForce RTX 4070 with GDDR6 memory will go on sale next month. Nvidia has not yet announced the official cost of the card or release date.
