Developers from the Game Science studio reported on the first successes of their fantasy action role-playing game Black Myth: Wukong based on the classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West.”

As it became known, total sales of Black Myth: Wukong on all target platforms as of August 23 at 16:30 Moscow time (that is, three days from release) reached 10 million copies.
In addition, Game Science revealed that the maximum peak online for Black Myth: Wukong on PC and PS5 was 3 million people. Approximately 2.2-2.4 million of this amount comes specifically from Steam.

Let us remind you that less than a day after the release of Black Myth: Wukong reached more than 2.223 million concurrent players on Steam – this is the second figure in the history of the platform – and has since improved its personal record to 2.415 million.
Journalists called Black Myth: Wukong an excellent action movie (81% on Metacritic), and Steam users left more than 393 thousand “extremely positive” reviews (96% rating).
Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 20 on PC (Steam, EGS, WePlay) and PS5, but the version for Xbox Series X and S is delayed. The game offers you, in the role of the king of the monkeys chosen by fate, to go on an adventure full of trials and miracles.
