As it turned out, Kojima was hinting at the participation of his studio Kojima Productions and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 (TGS 2024), which will be held from September 26 to 29 on the outskirts of Tokyo.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that Kojima Productions will host a special presentation of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach at Tokyo Game Show 2024 with Kojima and several invited guests.

The event will last about an hour – beginning on September 29 (Sunday) at 4:30 Moscow time. Participants will discuss Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and share the latest development news.

In addition to Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Sony Interactive Entertainment will bring at least public demos of the platformer Astro Bot and the fantasy hunting action game Monster Hunter Wilds to TGS 2024.

The PlayStation booth will feature 40 gaming stations featuring Monster Hunter Wilds, as well as, on September 28 and 29 only, a huge Astro Bot-themed capsule vending machine (like this one).

In addition to PlayStation, Square Enix, Sega, Capcom, Konami, Bandai Namco, THQ Nordic and so on will take part in TGS 2024. Xbox will not be represented at the exhibition, and Nintendo will drop by the event only for business meetings.
