Realistic 3D images from 2D content on the Samsung Odyssey 3D monitor are created using LFD (Light Field Display) technology using a lenticular lens on the front panel. In combination with Eye Tracking and View Mapping Odyssey technologies, a three-dimensional image is created that does not require glasses to view: Eye Tracking uses a built-in stereo camera to track the movements of both eyes of the user, and View Mapping corrects the output image to maintain the effect of depth.

The Samsung Odyssey 3D monitor allows you to freely switch between 2D and 3D modes. Available in 27- and 37-inch sizes, the display has a 4K resolution, offers a 1ms response time (GtG) and a 165Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth gameplay without image retention or tearing. The monitor is equipped with a stand with tilt and height adjustment, supports AMD FreeSync Premium, has one DisplayPort 1.4 port and two HDMI 2.1 ports.

Samsung also announced three traditional monitors. The two new models in the Odyssey OLED G9 lineup, the G95SD and G93SD, offer a 49-inch Dual QHD (5120 x 1440 pixels) screen with a 32:9 aspect ratio, 1800R curved design, access to Smart Hub and Gaming Hub ( G95SD only), 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time (GTG).

The ultra-wide 34-inch screen of the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (G85SD) has a resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels (21:9), 1800R curvature, 175 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response time (GTG); Smart Hub and Gaming Hub are also available.
