The Motorola brand has introduced the Moto G45 smartphone in India on a 5G chip with three bright color options and a modest price tag of around $150.
The Moto G45 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip – the same platform with a 2.3 GHz processor is installed on the older Moto G85 model. The Moto G45 has 4 or 8 GB of RAM, and the storage capacity is only 128 GB, but it can be expanded using a microSD card in the hybrid slot. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, but it supports frequencies up to 120Hz. It has a pass-through hole for a 16-megapixel camera, and protection is provided by Gorilla Glass 3. On the back panel there is a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
What makes the Moto G45 stand out is its range of vibrant colours. Motorola is once again collaborating with Pantone: the smartphone is offered in Brilliant Blue, Brilliant Green and Viva Magenta colors – the latter named by Pantone as the color of 2023. All three options feature a vegan leather back panel; There is an NFC module. The Moto G45 battery capacity is 5000 mAh; A 20W TurboPower charger is included. The OS is Android 14, and the manufacturer has promised a minimum of pre-installed software. Finally, there is FM radio and a 3.5mm jack, which are still popular in India. The Moto G45 in 4/128 GB configuration costs INR 10,999 ($130), and the 8/128 GB version is priced at $155. Sales of the smartphone will start on August 28.
