Tecno has announced that it has updated its Spark series of smartphones with the new entry-level Tecno Go 1 running Android 14 Go. According to the GSMArena resource, the new product is identical to the recently released Tecno Pop 9 smartphone, which debuted this week in Nigeria.

The Tecno Spark Go 1 features a 6.67-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution (1600×720 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole at the top of the display houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, while the back houses a 13-megapixel main camera.

The smartphone is based on a quad-core Unsioc T615 chip with a clock frequency of up to 1.8 GHz. The amount of RAM is 3 or 4 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 64 or 128 GB. The 5000 mAh battery supports 15W charging.

The Tecno Go 1 specifications also include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual speakers with DTS Sound support, and an IR blaster. A side fingerprint scanner is used to unlock. The new product is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP54 standard.

The smartphone is available in two colors – black (Startrail Black) and white (Glittery White). The price and launch date for Tecno Go 1 sales will be announced a little later.
