South Korean company Samsung has officially introduced the affordable Galaxy A06 smartphone in Vietnam. It will also be available in other countries in the near future.
The developers equipped the new product with a 6.7-inch LCD display supporting a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. At the top of the screen there is a waterdrop notch that houses an 8-megapixel front camera (f/2.0). The dual main camera combines a 50-megapixel main sensor with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Supports 1080p video shooting at speeds up to 60 frames per second.
The hardware basis of the Galaxy A06 is the eight-core MediaTek Helio G85 microprocessor (two Cortex-A75 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz). The Mali-G52 MC2 accelerator is responsible for graphics processing. The smartphone will be available in versions with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage, as well as with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. If necessary, storage space can be increased by using a microSD card.
The Galaxy A06 is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 25 W. A USB Type-C interface is provided to replenish energy. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button, which is located on the side of the case.
The smartphone runs Android 14. Buyers will be able to choose between versions of the device in blue, white and gold body colors. The retail price of the Galaxy A06 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM will be €115, and for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 ROM you will have to pay €137.
