MSI unveils MPG 321CURX 32-inch curved QD-OLED monitor with 4K and 240Hz

MSI has unveiled its first curved QD-OLED monitor, the 32-inch MPG 321CURX. The new product is going to be shown live on August 21 at the Gamescom exhibition, which will be held in Cologne, Germany. The monitor has a radius of curvature of 1700R.

The MSI MPG 321CURX uses Samsung Display’s curved QD-OLED panel. It supports a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, has a response speed of 0.03 ms (GtG), a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, a brightness of 250 cd/m2 in SDR mode and 1000 cd/m2 in HDR mode, and supports 10-bit color depth. The display claims 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, 138 percent sRGB and 98 percent Adobe RGB. The monitor’s native refresh rate is 240 Hz. It supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync image synchronization technologies. The monitor is also certified VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black.

The MSI MPG 321CURX is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1, and one USB Type-C with alternative DisplayPort and 98W charging functions. In addition, it is equipped with a KVM switch, 3.5 mm audio output and a USB hub with two connectors for connecting a mouse and keyboard.

The monitor stand allows you to adjust the height of the screen above the table, as well as its tilt and horizontal rotation angles. There is no vertical repeat adjustment for the display. The monitor is equipped with a cooling system, which includes a radiator and graphene film. The manufacturer provides a guarantee against screen burn-in for the new product, as it has equipped it with OLED Care 2.0 anti-burn-in technologies.

MSI will announce the start of sales of the MPG 321CURX monitor next week at Gamescom. The monitor is priced at €1399.
