The team of modders from TESRenewal has published a lengthy gameplay video of Skyblivion, an unofficial remake of the role-playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim engine.
The new Skyblivion demo is almost 20 minutes long and includes a look at the current build. The developers showed the passage of the quests “Fingers of the Mountain” (in two parts) and “Deadly Dangerous Field”.
Both quests can be taken from Chorrol and completed near the city. The plot of “Fingers of the Mountain” revolves around the book of the same name, and “Deadly Field” offers to help farmers cope with a goblin attack.
In “Fingers of the Mountain” the developers supported first the Mages Guild and then Iran, and in “Deadly Field” they demonstrated the outcome of the quest depending on the fate of the farm’s defenders.
Fans were delighted with the new Skyblivion demo. In the comments on YouTube, fans have high hopes for the project. “The most anticipated game of next year for me,” admitted blogger Max Derrat.
TESRenewal plans to release Skyblivion in 2025. In the description of the video, the developers report that as they get closer to release, they are increasingly switching to refining and polishing locations.
Skyblivion has been in development since 2012 (full production started in 2016). The mod will be free, but to play you will need legal copies of both Oblivion (with all the additions) and Skyrim (regular version or Special Edition).
