The Razer Naga gaming mouse, which appeared on the market in 2014, was sold in two versions – for right-handers and left-handers. However, the second option was soon discontinued due to low demand. Now, 10 years later, the left-handed version of Naga, which features tons of customizable buttons and is ideal for MMO games, is again available for purchase for $80.

This is definitely good news for left-handed gamers who are used to the fact that there are a huge number of computer mice on the market, but most of them are aimed at right-handers. In the case of the Naga, the stumbling block was the 12 programmable buttons, which are located on the left side of the device. This design makes them convenient to use only for right-handers, who can press the side buttons with their thumb.
Indeed, left-handers are often at a disadvantage when it comes to computer games. While standard mice are considered equally suitable for right-handers and left-handers, gaming mice come with side buttons for thumb clicking. Since most people are right-handed, the side buttons on gaming mice are located on the left side, making the devices inconvenient for left-handed users.
«The community really reached out to us,” said Razer Global Export Director Jeffrey Chau. He also added that the company was shocked by the number of left-handers using Razer devices, which also promised to use the Naga not only in games, but also for everyday tasks.
