A reliable insider revealed when the first reviews of Black Myth: Wukong will be released

There is just over a week left before the release of the ambitious fantasy action role-playing game Black Myth: Wukong from the Chinese studio Game Science, and players have finally found out when the first reviews of the project will be released.

Trusted insider Tom Henderson posted on his microblog last weekend that Game Science had already sent review copies of Black Myth: Wukong to journalists.

According to Henderson, the embargo on the publication of review materials for Black Myth: Wukong will lift this coming Friday, August 16, that is, four days before the official release of the game.

This is a good sign in the eyes of gamers. As practice shows, developers and publishers lift the embargo on the eve of a product release only when they are really confident in it.

Blogger HazzadorGamin added that Game Science is only sending out keys for the PC version of Black Myth: Wukong, which scared fans on Reddit: they fear a repeat of the situation with the technical failure of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One.

Insider Lunatic Ignus, who predicted the requirements and the June trailer for Black Myth: Wukong, reassured players: the developers received PC keys before console ones. On PS5, the action movie allegedly delivers 60fps at 1440p and 30fps at 4K.

Black Myth: Wukong will be released on August 20 on PC (Steam, EGS, WePlay) and PS5. The game is based on the Chinese novel Journey to the West and will take you on an adventure full of trials and wonders as the Monkey King.
