Developers from the GSC Game World studio have shared a new teaser and details of the upcoming gameplay demo of the post-apocalyptic open-world shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
As it became known, the upcoming presentation of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl received the name Developer Deep Dive and the exact start time: August 12 at 19:00 Moscow time. The show will take place on the Xbox Twitch channel.
GSC Game World is calling the upcoming Developer Deep Dive its biggest S.T.A.L.K.E.R update yet. 2: Heart of Chornobyl – in total, viewers can expect more than 30 minutes of fresh information.
The presentation promises to show interviews with developers, behind-the-scenes materials, a lot of new gameplay and the passage of one of the quests. An excerpt from the demo appeared in the new teaser for Developer Deep Dive (see video below).
Events S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will take place in the Chernobyl exclusion zone. They promise a unique world, a non-linear plot with multiple endings, hardcore gameplay and graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5.
As a result of the recent transfer, the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is now expected not on September 5, but on November 20 this year. The game is being created for PC (Steam, GOG, EGS, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X, S and Game Pass.
Ahead of the November release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl can be tried at the German gaming exhibition gamescom 2024, which will be held in Cologne from August 21 to 25 – GSC will bring a new demo version of the project to it.
