A group of treasure hunters from the Discord server Not Finding A Cow Level solved a mystery in the action-RPG Diablo IV from Blizzard Entertainment, which has been tormenting players for the past year. However, the reward was not worth the effort.
We are talking about a unique Ring of Misfortune, the existence of which was discovered by data miners shortly after the release of Diablo IV, but due to difficulties with the process of unlocking it in the game itself, until recently no one could find the accessory.
First, players need to find five lucky coins – under the influence of the Sanctum of Greed and with a hit rate above 50%, they have a small chance to drop from the corpses of killed NPCs during the mini-event in Scosglen.
Next, you need to assemble a team of characters from all five classes of Diablo IV, each of whom must throw a lucky coin into the wishing well east of Kerrigar in Scosglen.
For throwing coins into the well, players received the great feat “Well-wisher” and the title of the same name. Then a meteor shower began, after which the treasured ring appeared in the inventories of the group members.
The Ring of Misfortune earned its name due to the modifier of a successful strike. He guarantees that with a probability of up to 100% the wearer will lose the entire supply of the resource: “It looks like an ordinary ring, but when you put it on, horror grips your soul.”
The Ring of Misfortune cannot be sold, exchanged or dismantled. Some speculate that it may be related to Diablo IV’s search for the mythical cow level, which Blizzard hinted at the existence of last fall.
