Cooler Master has announced the first giant gaming 57-inch curved monitor in its portfolio, the GP57ZS. The new product was first shown at Computex 2024 in early summer, but then the manufacturer did not provide any technical specifications. This gap has now been closed.
The Cooler Master GP57ZS monitor uses a 57-inch diagonal 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) VA panel with a 32:9 aspect ratio, 1500R radius of curvature, Dual 4K resolution (7680 × 2160 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen contrast is 3000:1. The typical screen brightness is 400 cd/m2, and the peak brightness in HDR mode is 1100 cd/m2. The display is equipped with Mini-LED backlighting with 2304 local dimming zones. The manufacturer claims 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and 99 percent sRGB for the screen.
Cooler Master GP57ZS supports Adaptive-Sync technology, has a response speed of 1 ms MPRT (1 ms GtG), and also received Low Blue Light eye protection (reduces blue light emissions) and Anti-Flicker (reduces flicker).
The monitor is equipped with a KVM switch, which allows you to control two signal sources with one set of mouse and keyboard, as well as an ergonomic stand with the ability to adjust the screen height above the table, rotation angles and tilt. There is support for PbP (picture-in-picture) mode.
In addition, it received two speakers with a power of 10 W each, one DisplayPort 1.4 connector, two HDMI 2.1, one USB Type-C with 90 W charging function, a 3.5 mm audio output, one USB-B and a USB hub on four USB 3.2 for connecting a mouse and keyboard. The maximum power consumption of the monitor is 485 W.
The cost of the Cooler Master GP57ZS monitor has not been announced. The manufacturer also does not say when it will go on sale.
