Infinix has announced a new addition to the Note 40 series – the Note 40X 5G smartphone. The new product belongs to the middle price category, has 256 GB of flash memory in the basic configuration and a 108-megapixel main camera.

The Infinix Note 40X 5G is powered by the 6nm Dimensity 6300 processor, which includes dual 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 cores, six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The amount of RAM LPDDR4x is up to 12 GB with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 24 GB, the capacity of the UFS 2.2 flash drive is 256 GB. There is also a slot for microSD memory cards up to 1 TB.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.78-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution (2460 × 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. At the top of the display there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera, as well as a small Dynamic Bar panel designed to display notifications and system status alerts. On the back panel there is a 108-megapixel main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, complemented by a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The 5000 mAh battery supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone runs on the Android 14 operating system with the proprietary XOS 14 shell.

Specifications of the Infinix Note 40X 5G also include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with DTS surround sound support, dual microphones, dual SIM card slot, Bluetooth 5.3 wireless adapters and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. For protection against moisture and dust, the smartphone complies with the IP52 standard. The device is available in Lime Green, Palm Blue and Starlit Black.

Sales of Infinix Note 40X 5G will begin on August 9. The price of the model with 8/256 GB of memory is about $167, the cost of the version with 12/256 GB of memory is about $179.
