The Poco brand announced the Poco M6 Plus smartphone, which became the fifth representative of the Poco M6 series, differing from the base model in a more powerful processor, as well as a higher screen refresh rate.

Poco M6 Plus is based on an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and Adreno 613 graphics accelerator, manufactured using a 4nm process technology. The amount of RAM is 6 or 8 GB with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 16 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 128 GB. There is also the possibility of expanding storage thanks to support for microSD memory cards.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.79-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Peak brightness is 550 cd/m2. The display is protected from scratches by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The hole at the top of the screen houses a 13-megapixel selfie camera.

On the back panel there is a camera with a main 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binarization technology and an f/1.75 aperture, complemented by a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography.

The 5030 mAh battery supports 33 W fast charging. The smartphone’s specifications also include a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster and dual SIM slot.

Poco M6 Plus runs Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14. Poco promises two Android updates and security patches for four years. The smartphone is available in lilac (Misty Lavender), silver (Ice Silver) and black (Graphite Black).

Poco M6 Plus will go on sale in India on August 5th. The price of a model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory will be about $161, the cost of a version with 8/128 GB of memory will be about $173.
