Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment, right on schedule (the last Wednesday of the month), officially presented the August selection of games for subscribers of the basic PlayStation Plus subscription rate.
The headliner of the upcoming line-up was the action-adventure LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for PS4 and PS5, released in April 2022 and earning positive reviews in the press (76-82% on Metacritic).
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga lets you relive iconic moments from all nine Star Wars episodes (playable in any order) and take control of over 300 characters from the franchise.
The second project from the future collection is “horror for the whole family” Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach (also for PS4 and PS5), in which the boy Gregory finds himself locked in a shopping center along with creepy animatronics.
The third game on the list is the dark metroidvania Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights for PS4. In the role of the last surviving priestess Lily, gamers will have to unravel the mystery of the fatal rain that destroyed the kingdom of Outland.
Reaction to the announcement of the selection was mixed. Some users believe that recently PS Plus (we are talking, in particular, about the Extra library) has become more frequent with Lego games. “Lego Plus strikes back,” leon6257 sneers.
The distribution will begin on August 6 (you can activate July games before this point) and will last until September 2. PS Plus Essential, Extra and Premium (Deluxe) subscribers will be able to add the listed projects to the library.
