Realme introduced the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ smartphones. The manufacturer focuses on the photo and video capabilities of the devices, which are provided by high-level image sensors, advanced optics, as well as AI algorithms that help in shooting and processing the footage. In particular, smartphones support cloud-based AI editors Smart Removal, Group Photo Enhancement and Audio Zoom.
The Realme 13 Pro model uses a Sony LYT-600 sensor in the main camera. The second module is an 8-megapixel wide-angle module, like the Realme 13 Pro+ model. For the main cameras of smartphones, the ability to shoot video in 4K at 30 frames per second is claimed. The front cameras of the devices are the same – based on 32-megapixel sensors with the ability to shoot video in 1080p at 30 frames per second.
Both smartphones have the same 6.7-inch AMOLED displays with rounded edges, a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Also, both smartphones received the same processors – Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of 2400 MHz, four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 1950 MHz, Adreno 710 GPU).
New items offer 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The Realme 13 Pro model can offer 128, 256 or 512 GB of permanent memory, and the 13 Pro+ model can offer 256 or 512 GB of flash memory. The smartphones also have IP65 dust and water protection and received 5200 mAh batteries. The Realme 13 Pro comes with a 45W SuperVOOC charger. Version 13 Pro+ received an 80W charger.
Both smartphones will be offered in Monet Gold, Monet Purple and Emerald Green colors. The Realme 13 Pro model starts at $320 for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The option with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is priced at $346. The maximum configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory is estimated at $382.
Realme 13 Pro+ starts at $394 for the 8/256 GB version. The option with 12/256 GB of memory is priced at $418, and in the maximum configuration with 12/512 GB of memory the smartphone will cost $441.
Starting today, Realme 13 Pro series smartphones are available for pre-order in India and will be available for purchase from July 31 through the official Realme website. Open sales in India will begin from August 6. Later, new products will appear in other markets.
