Intel has released a driver with support for the Stormgate game and new optimizations for DX11 games

Intel has released a new graphics driver package, Arc Graphics 32.0.101.5768 WHQL. The new version of the software adds support for the Stormgate strategy.

The company also reports that the new driver significantly increases the gaming performance of Arc graphics cards in Yakuza: Like a Dragon (DX11) and Metro: Last Light Complete Edition (DX11). Intel continues to optimize its software for games that support legacy APIs. Specifically, in Yakuza: Like a Dragon (DX11), the company increased the performance of its graphics cards by up to 91 percent when using 1080p resolution and maximum quality settings, and up to 35 percent when using 1440p resolution and maximum quality settings. Performance in Metro: Last Light Complete Edition (DX11) on Arc graphics cards with the new driver increased by up to 20% at 1080p resolution and high quality settings, and up to 23% at 1440p resolution and at very high image quality settings.

The company also notes that in Stormgate (DX11), performance is increased by up to 12% at 1080p resolution when using medium quality settings and TSR (Temporal Super Resolution) temporal scaling.

List of fixed issues:

  • Fixed an issue with image distortion on water surfaces in the Dirt Rally (DX11) benchmark;
  • Fixed crashes in the game Sid Meier’s Civilization V (DX11);
  • Fixed problems with instability of the game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (DX12) when first launched;
  • Fixed image problems in Blender 4.2 when rendering scenes.

List of known issues:

  • Doom Eternal (VK) may experience intermittent flickering and distortion in menus and during gameplay;
  • Topaz Video AI may experience errors when using some video enhancement models;
  • Crashes may occur in Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (DX12) when starting to load gameplay before the shaders are fully compiled in the main menu;
  • Crashes may occur in the game Enshrouded (VK);
  • Possible crashes in Diablo IV (DX12) when using ray tracing;
  • Crashes in Fortnite when minimizing the game window using the Alt + Tab key combination;
  • Instability of SPECworkstation3.1 under certain types of loads;
  • Crashes in Procyon AI when checking performance in Float32 operations;
  • Periodic crashes in Dragon Quest X Online (DX9) when using the integrated graphics of 12th to 14th generation Core processors.
