Tecno announced the addition of the Camon 30 family to the Camon 30S Pro smartphone, which is the first among the company’s mobile devices to support wireless charging. The new product also became the first smartphone with the new Helio G100 chipset from MediaTek, manufactured using a 6nm process technology. At the moment, it is known that the chip does not have a 5G modem.
The smartphone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, expandable up to 16 GB. The capacity of the flash drive is 256 GB.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen of the smartphone supports Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In its upper part, in the hole, there is a 50-megapixel camera with autofocus and support for user eye tracking technology. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the back panel there is a main camera with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 sensor measuring 1/1.56 inches with optical image stabilization and a pixel size of 1 micron. It is complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The power source is a 5000 mAh battery that supports 45 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging. A special magnetic case is available for wireless charging. The smartphone also supports charging using non-magnetic chargers from third-party manufacturers. There are three charging modes – Hyper Charge (the fastest), Smart Charge and Low Temp Charge. Camon 30S Pro is also IP53 waterproof.
The Tecno Camon 30S Pro specifications also include an NFC chip, IR blaster and FM radio. The smartphone runs Android 14 with HiOS 14 shell. The thickness of the mobile device body is only 7.5 mm. The smartphone is available in gray, silver and gold colors. The price of the new item is still unknown.
