Asus introduced ProArt and Zenbook AI laptops with AMD Ryzen AI 300 chips starting at $1,399

Asus has officially unveiled the ProArt P16, ProArt PX13 and Zenbook S16 laptops based on powerful AMD processors with Zen 5 architecture – Ryzen AI 300. These chips have a built-in AI coprocessor (NPU) with a performance of up to 50 TOPS (trillion operations per second). The announced laptops are aimed at digital content creators and gamers, and their retail price will start at $1,399.

The ProArt P16 laptop is equipped with a 16-inch display with high contrast and support for 4K resolution. A 10-bit matrix is ​​used with a peak brightness of 500 cd/m², HDR support and DCI-P3 color space coverage of 100%. You can use the stylus to interact with the screen (the panel supports recognition of 4096 pressure levels).

The hardware basis of the new product is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor (12 Zen 5 cores, 24 threads, operating frequency 5.1 GHz) with integrated AMD Radeon 890M graphics, up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB. In addition to this, there is a discrete Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 accelerator with 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory.

The laptop is aimed at content creators; it can be used for video processing and 2D/3D rendering. The design provides USB Type-A, two USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1 interfaces, a card reader for micro-SD memory cards and a 3.5 mm headset jack. The power source is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 90 Wh. Retail price for ProArt P16 starts at $1900.

The ProArt PX13 is a more compact version of the ProArt P16. The same Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor paired with a GeForce RTX 4070 graphics accelerator with 8 GB of video memory is used here. In the maximum configuration, the device is equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 2 TB solid-state drive. There are also USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, a Micro-SD 4.0 card reader and a headset jack. Autonomy is provided by a battery with a capacity of 73 Wh.

ProArt PX13 is equipped with a 13.3-inch OLED display with support for 3K resolution. The design of the laptop allows you to fold the top and bottom covers, turning the laptop into a tablet. The compact size and design features make the laptop a good option for people who travel frequently. As for the price, the retail price of the ProArt PX13 starts at $1,700.

Another new product is the Zenbook S16 laptop, which is available in versions with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 or Ryzen AI 9 365 processors. In the first case, performance is provided at 81 TOPS, and in the second – 73 TOPS. Regardless of the selected option, the integrated Radeon 890M accelerator is used for graphics processing. In the maximum configuration, the device is equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB solid-state drive.

Zenbook S16 received from the developers a 16-inch OLED display with support for 3K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The audio subsystem includes six speakers. The laptop is equipped with the same connectors as the ProArt 916 and PX13, and the power source is a 78 Wh battery. Retail price for the Zenbook S16 starts at $1,399.
