TeamGroup has released T-Force GC PRO PCIe 5.0 NVMe drives with speeds of up to 12.5 GB/s

TeamGroup has released a new series of T-Force GC PRO NVMe solid-state drives of the PCIe 5.0 standard. The manufacturer asks not to confuse the new products with the flagship T-Force GE PRO SSD series presented in January of this year, but notes that both series are very similar.

T-Force GC PRO series drives are available in 2 and 4 TB models. They claim a maximum sequential read speed of up to 12,500 MB/s and sequential write speed of up to 11,000 MB/s. In turn, for GE PRO models speeds of up to 14,000 and 11,800 MB/s are claimed, respectively. These specifications are for 4 TB SSD versions.

The model of the new series also has a slightly lower resource, amounting to 2400 TBW instead of 2800 TBW (terabytes of overwritten information). At the same time, both SSD series have a five-year manufacturer’s warranty. Below is a table that shows the differences between the two SSD series in more detail.

Although TeamGroup recommends using heatsinks with T-Force GC PRO drives, the new products come with thin graphene plates for heat dissipation. The manufacturer did not disclose the cost of the SSD.
