ASRock has introduced the world’s first compact Mini-ITX motherboard supporting AMD Ryzen 9000 processors. It also supports Ryzen 7000 and Ryzen 8000G chips. The dimensions of the X600TM-ITX are only 170 × 170 mm. The manufacturer states that the board is designed for use with processors with a nominal TDP of up to 65 W.
The X600TM-ITX is based on a 6-phase VRM power subsystem with a 4+1+1 phase design. The new product received two compact SO-DIMM connectors with support for up to 96 GB of RAM standard DDR5-6400. Support for Intel XMP and AMD EXPO memory overclocking profiles is announced.
The board does not have PCIe connectors for expansion cards. Thus, it is proposed to assign graphics processing tasks to the integrated graphics of the processors themselves.
The board offers a pair of M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots, one M.2 for connecting a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, as well as two SATA III ports (6 Gbps). In addition, the new product received one HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and LVDS (optional), a gigabit LAN network connector, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C and USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, as well as two USB 2.0.
Optionally, the new product is offered with a physical cryptographic module TPM 2.0 (based on INFINEON SLB9672 or NUVOTON NPCT750AADYX).
The new product is primarily intended for building mini-PCs, monoblocks or home theaters. The manufacturer did not disclose the cost of the ASRock X600TM-ITX board.
