After five years of development and amid growing fan excitement, the massive Fallout: London modification for the role-playing shooter Fallout 4 is now closer than ever to release.

Let us remind you that the ambitious project of The Folon Team was supposed to be released on April 23, but due to the release of the “next generation” update for Fallout 4 on the 25th, the mod was postponed indefinitely.

Fallout: London got a new (internal) release date in June. At the beginning of July, the modification went to GOG specialists for final checks, and last week it received the green light from them – the release was just around the corner.

On the afternoon of July 24, Fallout: London lead developer Dean Carter intrigued the team’s Discord server community by posting a link to the song “Can’t Wait (Tomorrow)” from the mod’s soundtrack.

In an interview with Inverse, Carter confirmed what the teaser meant: Fallout: London will release on July 25, “unless there is a nuclear apocalypse.”

The events of the addon-sized mod will unfold in London in the year 2237. They promise unique factions and storylines, weapons, creatures, Baldur’s Gate 3 star Neil Newbon and the former Speaker of the House of Commons in voice acting.

Fallout: London will be released without compatibility with the current version of Fallout 4 and, due to its size (30-40 GB), will be posted on GOG. Thanks to the built-in downgrader, the mod will also be available to owners of the Steam version of the game.
