AMD quietly introduced another mobile processor of the latest Ryzen AI 300 series – the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 model. The chip previously appeared in various leaks, but was not officially presented at the same time as the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365 models in the past month.
Information about the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 Strix Point series appeared on the official AMD website. The chip has four high-performance Zen 5 cores and eight energy-efficient Zen 5c cores. Thus, the new product has 12 cores with support for 24 threads. The maximum processor frequency is 5.1 GHz. It has 12 MB L2 cache and 28 MB L3 cache. The new product has a dynamic TDP from 15 to 54 W. The TSMC 4nm process technology is used to produce the processor.
The Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 features integrated Radeon 890M graphics with 16 graphics cores that operate at up to 2.9 GHz. According to the description, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 is the most powerful processor in the Ryzen AI 300 series in terms of AI capabilities. It is equipped with an XDNA 2 neural processing unit (NPU) with a performance of 55 TOPS (trillion operations per second). This is 5 TOPS higher than the NPU of the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365 models.
According to the VideoCardz portal, currently only one laptop is known that should receive a Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 processor. This is the 14-inch HP OmniBook Ultra, which is expected to be released in September.
