Samsung has confirmed that it has suspended deliveries of the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless headphones to its retail partners. This decision comes in response to reports of quality issues experienced by some early owners of the device.
The first complaints about the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro concerned mainly the quality of the ear pads, which, according to users, are easily torn. Samsung quickly responded to the issue by delaying the product’s release date on its official website until August 28th, while Amazon removed the listing from its store altogether.
According to Android Authority, Samsung representatives confirmed to the publication that deliveries of headphones to retail partners have been temporarily suspended to conduct quality checks.
«We are aware of reports of issues affecting a limited number of early production Galaxy Buds 3 Pro units. We take this issue very seriously and strive to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. We are currently urgently conducting an analysis of what happened,” the company said in a statement. Samsung advised owners experiencing issues to contact support or visit their nearest service center.
The news comes shortly after the company issued a statement to customers in the domestic market, apologizing for any issues with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Samsung Korea’s statement also noted that the company will conduct thorough testing of the headphones ahead of the July 24 launch date.
