Google seems to be somewhat tired of a series of leaks regarding the characteristics and design of the upcoming Pixel 9 line. The company decided to show the new Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold itself, without waiting for the announcement of all models of the new generation smartphones scheduled for August 13.

Google has released a couple of short videos showing off some of the features of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. According to The Verge, the video indicates the integration of artificial intelligence based on the Gemini neural network, which is not surprising given the company’s announcements at the Google I/O conference in May of this year.

Images on the pre-order page published by Google also give a glimpse of the redesigned camera array, which has lost the edge-to-edge strip format in favor of a more tablet-like shape. In turn, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have rear cameras fitted into a square island with rounded edges.

Let us remind you what characteristics have leaked to the Network about the upcoming line of Pixel 9 smartphones. It is expected that the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro will be equipped with batteries with a capacity of 4558 mAh, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL model will receive a 4942 mAh battery, which is only slightly more than its predecessors. As for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, this folding smartphone has become more elongated and has thinner frames. Its battery will have a capacity of 4560 mAh, which is slightly less than that of the previous model.

All Pixel 9 devices, with the exception of the base Pixel 9, will support Thread and UWB protocols for wireless communication. Along with the smartphones, Google’s new 45W charger will be presented.
