Vivo has released the same smartphones under different names before and now it is doing it again. The mid-range iQOO Z9 Lite announced this week is built on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 microprocessor and has previously entered the markets of some countries under the names Vivo T3 Lite and Vivo Y28s. The main difference between the three devices is the distribution channels.
The Vivo iQOO Z9 Lite smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen, which houses an 8-megapixel front camera. The dual main camera is located in a vertical rectangular module on the back of the case. It combines a 50-megapixel sensor with phase detection autofocus with a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The device is available in versions with 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. Autonomous operation is ensured by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh with support for fast charging up to 15 W. The software platform uses Android 14 with the proprietary Funtouch 14 interface. Users will be able to choose between Aqua Flow and Mocha Brown color options.
As for the price, the retail price of the iQOO Z9 Lite with 4 GB of RAM costs $125, and for the version with 6 GB of RAM you will have to pay $140. The new product will go on sale later this year.
