The fantasy role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios continues to collect awards even 11 months after its release. The studio is pleased with the attention to the project, but such success has resulted in an unusual problem.
Vincke lamented that attending awards ceremonies had become a real challenge for the studio: “It would be great if [awards organizers] all did them at the same time, because it’s a surprisingly tedious process.”
Despite the fatigue, Larian Studios still has ceremonies that the studio plans to attend. Vincke emphasized that “they are important, and we really appreciate” the success Baldur’s Gate 3 has achieved.
The inexhaustible attention to Baldur’s Gate 3, according to Vincke, does not allow the studio and players to say goodbye to the project. Larian is already tired of talking about the game in public and is preparing the last major update for it (will be released in September).
Larian has recently been developing “two extremely ambitious RPGs” (Baldur’s Gate 4 is definitely not among them), to help with which it recently opened a new European division in Warsaw.
