Razer decided to make it easier for gamers to control the mouse, taking into account their individual characteristics and preferred genres. Mouse Rotation and Dynamic Sensitivity have been added to the proprietary Synapse app, which are now available on the Razer Viper V3 Pro and Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed esports mice.
The Mouse Rotation function allows you to adjust the angle of the incoming signal from the sensor on the “rodent” so that it optimally matches the set of equipment and individual grip characteristics. This will be useful for those players who move in a horizontal direction with a natural tilt, and for those who have a special positioning of the manipulator itself. You can now adjust the amount of tilt for horizontal movement in the Razer Synapse app – it no longer has to be strictly horizontal.
Dynamic Sensitivity – the ability to adapt the sensitivity of the mouse to the characteristics of the game. In the application, you can choose one of three preset profiles – Classic, Natural and Jump (“classic”, “natural” and “jump”) – or create your own. Classic assumes a linear increase in sensitivity, as is usually set in Windows.
Natural and Jump will be useful for shooter fans in different game scenarios. Natural is tailored for FPS in arenas where fast movements are required for wide viewing angles and low DPI is less desirable.
The Jump profile is useful in tactical FPS, where the appearance of enemies is more predictable, but a low DPI is needed for accurate aiming: as a result, sudden movement gives a sharp 180° turn, but the advantage of low DPI when aiming is retained. As a result, players are freed from the need to manually switch mouse sensitivity at critical moments.
New features are only available on the Razer Viper V3 Pro and DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed mice. To take advantage of them, you will need to update to the latest version of Razer Synapse and firmware on both devices.
