The IGN portal, as part of the IGN First section, presented an exclusive 10-minute video of the gameplay of the open-world action-adventure Star Wars Outlaws from Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment.
As a reminder, in the role of the “cunning scoundrel” Kay Wess, players will have to pull off “one of the greatest heists in the history of the Outer Rim.” To increase your chances of success, you will have to seek out elusive experts in their fields.
The passage of one of these “expert” missions was shown by the IGN portal. Kay arrives on the desert planet Tatooine in hopes of trading with the Jawa scavengers for a laser turret for his starship.
The traders are ready to part with the treasured part in exchange for a tooth, but not a simple one, but a sarlacc – a semi-intelligent creature buried underground, similar to a giant carnivorous plant with a beak and tentacles.
Fortunately for the heroine, mercenaries were stationed not far from the Jawas’ camp, examining the body of a dead sarlacc. Inside Kay’s creature there is a platform section, and at the exit there is a speeder chase and a shootout in the spaceport.
The new gameplay of Star Wars Outlaws has alerted viewers. The game suffers from framerate stuttering and AI issues, and also looks sloppy. “Ubi Soft. Episode V: Downgrade Strikes Back,” jokes josephjoestar9616.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30 on PC (Ubisoft Connect), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, but owners of the premium editions will have access three days earlier. The game went gold in early July, so no postponements are expected.
