Realme has unveiled the entry-level smartphone Realme C61. The new product stands out with its body that is protected from dust and water according to the IP54 standard – this is extremely rare in entry-level smartphones.
The Realme C61 is powered by the Unisoc T612 processor (two 1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 cores, six 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, and a Mali-G57 GPU). The smartphone offers 4 or 6 GB of RAM, as well as 64 or 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded using microSDXC memory cards.
The device has a 6.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen is protected by glass with TUV Rheinland certification, confirming its reliability. On the back of the device there is a 32-megapixel camera, as well as a sensor for calculating the depth of field.
The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. Realme promises that the battery will retain 80% of its capacity after 1000 charge cycles.
Realme C61 will be available in Safari Green and Marble Black colors from June 28. The base configuration with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at $92/€85, the version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost $100/€95, and the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost $107/€100.
